This repo contains my configuration, kexts, etc of my working hackintosh MacOS Catalina 10.15

HowTo ad extra memory to an HP ProBook 4540s Notebook PCNOTE: there might be problems using 16GB of RAM on this hardware, the system don't seems to handle the memory that good and it might slow the system down. Upgraded probook with 1080p and ssd running Mac OS X 10.9.4. This is the Intel i7 probook. Unfortunately, once sacrifices are made in multiple areas, the user ends up with a substandard product both in quality and experience. If you can live with the limitations, the Probook is a viable alternative. Although I have had fun with the HP Probook project, I still don't recommend buying any laptop for Mac OS X besides a real Mac.

Installation

Notice: you have to generate your own SMBIOS/SerialNumber and SMBIOS/BoardSerialNumber.

You can either install your hackintosh all by yourself or you can use my EFI folders to install and run the hackintosh.

To install hackintosh on your laptop, follow these 2 guides:

How to install kext wifi + Bluetooth for MacOS Catalina 10.15

Since macOS Catalina, system partition is read-only, you have to mount it first as read-write:

Copy (BrcmPatchRAM3.kext, BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext and BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext) to /Library/Extensions. Buffalo hd-lbu2 driver for mac.
